Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a QA Lead to take ownership of the Quality Management System and lead the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's electronic QMS (eQMS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring GMP compliance, inspection readiness, and effective quality systems governance across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and leading day-to-day QMS activities, including oversight of GMP documentation, batch-related records, and key quality system deliverables.
  • Managing and governing core QMS processes, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and document control in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Leading the eQMS implementation and lifecycle management, including validation, testing, data migration, user training, and system adoption.
  • Partnering with QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to drive quality system effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QA environment, with demonstrable ownership of QMS processes.
  • Proven involvement in eQMS implementation, upgrade, or optimisation projects within a regulated setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory expectations, and data integrity principles.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
