Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality / Responsible Person (RP) / Responsible Person for Import (RPi) to join a pharmaceutical organisation operating within the medicines supply and distribution sector. As the Head of Quality / RP / RPi, you will lead the Quality function, ensuring compliance with GDP and GMP regulations while maintaining the organisation’s Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities as the Head of Quality / RP / RPi will be:
- Act as the named Responsible Person (RP) and Responsible Person for Import (RPi) on relevant licences
- Lead and maintain the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) and quality strategy
- Oversee GDP compliance, supplier qualification, and distribution quality activities
- Manage regulatory inspections, audits, investigations, and CAPA processes
To be a successful candidate for the Head of Quality / RP / RPi role:
- Degree in Pharmacy or a relevant scientific discipline
- Registered Pharmacist eligible to act as a Responsible Person (RP)
- Experience working within pharmaceutical distribution and GDP-regulated environments
- Strong experience managing quality systems, inspections, and regulatory compliance
