Walker Cole International is partnering with a confidential pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Quality Assurance Lead. This position will play a key role in maintaining and developing both GMP and GDP compliance across manufacturing and distribution activities, supporting the effectiveness of the Quality Management System within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. RP/RPi eligibility is required as part of the long‑term Quality structure.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Lead:
- Support and enhance the GMP and GDP Quality Management System, including deviations, CAPA, change control and risk management
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring inspection readiness across manufacturing and distribution operations
- Manage supplier qualification, Technical Agreements, and third‑party quality oversight
- Review batch documentation, temperature excursion data, and quality records to support compliant product release
The QA Lead will have:
- RP/RPi eligibility under UK legislation
- Degree qualification in Chemistry or a Life Sciences discipline with professional body membership
- Strong experience within EU/UK GMP and GDP regulated pharmaceutical environments
- Proven knowledge of Quality Systems, regulatory compliance, supplier assurance, and audit management
