Market Strategy & Planning Manager

Walker Cole International is exclusively partnered with a leading European consumer healthcare company based in Berkshire.

They are searching for a Market Strategy & Planning Manager to bridge the gap between brand strategy and retail execution; translating brand, shopper and category insight into customer-ready plans that drive growth across a portfolio of well-known OTC and consumer health brands.

This is a hybrid role, with three days per week in the office.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Turning brand plans into shopper-led, customer-facing activation plans and retailer-ready selling stories for priority brands, NPD and key commercial initiatives.
  • Driving NPD launch excellence through launch toolkits, distribution targets, POS and promotional plans, and tracking launch KPIs by customer.
  • Setting promotional guidelines and leading promo ROI reviews with Sales and Finance, while defining best-in-class in-store execution and distribution priorities.
  • Leading the commercial planning rhythm across Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance and Demand Planning, equipping Sales teams with clear deployment materials and customer priorities.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess

  • Around 5–7 years' experience in MS&P, Customer Strategy & Planning, Shopper Marketing or Category Management within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, OTC or branded consumer goods.
  • Strong commercial understanding of distribution, pricing, promotions, shopper activation and in-store execution.
  • A proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, with excellent presentation skills and an analytical, action-oriented approach.
