Sales Valuer
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Sales Valuer to join a well-established property business in Shrewsbury.
This position would suit someone who enjoys getting out and meeting clients, building relationships and winning new business, whilst delivering a professional and personal service.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
- Developing new business opportunities and building relationships with prospective vendors
- Carrying out property appraisals and providing informed advice on local market values
- Securing new instructions and supporting the growth of the residential sales department
- Advising homeowners on pricing, marketing and the sales process
- Maintaining regular contact with prospective and existing clients
- Using local market knowledge and comparable evidence to support valuations
- Working alongside the wider team to identify opportunities and deliver a high standard of service
About You
- Previous experience within residential estate agency, ideally in a valuation or listing capacity
- Confident building relationships and converting opportunities into instructions
- Strong understanding of the residential property market
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating business
- Professional, personable and comfortable dealing with clients face-to-face
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary
- A genuine interest in property and delivering excellent customer service
