We are looking for an Investment Account Manager to be the day-to-day lead on one of our biggest accounts. It will be a hands-on role with plenty of training and support, offering exposure to clients and senior management from day one.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- To manage the day-to-day delivery of the always-on ATL activity with the main focus being TV, VOD, and Audio.
- To deliver gold standard buying and best in class work to generate the best results for our clients, ensuring consistent delivery against all buying parameters and audit commitments / client requirements where required.
- To work closely with the wider investment and comms planning teams from brief to developing media plans, to activation and post-campaign analysis, delivering on all requests across the account.
- To get under the skin of our client’s businesses and their target audience, building strong relationships in order to understand how to best serve their needs.
- To utilise strong media owner relationships to negotiate and drive value for our clients.
- To be responsible and accountable for the account, making sure all internal and external documents are accurate and correct, and finance processes are adhered to.
- To keep abreast of market products and opportunities, and to bring and develop new ideas that challenge the status quo and make our brands famous.
- To help grow and advance our team; to teach, manage, and support, and develop juniors’ capabilities by putting together, and managing, individual development plans.
About you:
You are most likely currently working as an experienced senior executive or a junior manager, with a couple of years of AV experience under your belt. You pride yourself as a strong TV buyer that goes above and beyond to deliver results, and you see the value in learning new techniques to master this skill further. You’re looking for a new challenge and a new opportunity that opens you up to new media channels whilst AV remains your bread and butter. You’re enthusiastic, naturally curious, and open to learning new techniques. You have strong organisational skills and are eager to take responsibility, produce exceptional work, and show close attention to detail. You have a positive and proactive attitude, and you’re ready to hit the ground running.
About your experience:
- A few years of TV & VOD buying and planning experience (ideally covering both DR and brand with audit experience).
- Strong interest and understanding of AV and other ATL channels with desire to learn and develop knowledge and capabilities in these areas.
- Fluent in all the industry systems and tools (Mediaocean suite, TechEdge, TVSquared/Adalyser or similar), as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Confident communicator and presenter, able to explain data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative mindset, with a passion for solving problems and working across teams to deliver client value.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently to tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and media owner relationships.
- Commercial awareness and understanding to ensure we are always driving value for our clients and the agency.
We’d love if you also have:
- Experience in other ATL channels e.g. cinema, radio, OOH, publishing, digital audio.
- Experience in working on new business pitches.
- Experience in managing a team and teaching new joiners.
Interview process:
For this role, there will be two stages in the interview process: The first stage will be a Teams interview with our Head of AV and our Senior Account Director. It will focus on your competencies and career history to date applying how this experience is relevant to the role. The second stage will be with our Investment Director and Chief Investment Officer (in-person at our office in Covent Garden). We would like to see you present a piece of work that you are proud of which should last about 20 minutes with a Q+A, the project chosen should showcase how your skills align to this role.
