Field Care Supervisor – Join Our Growing Team at Walfinch, Suffolk Coastal
Are you ready to take the next step in your care career? Walfinch Suffolk Coastal is looking for an experienced and motivated Field Care Supervisor to support our dedicated team of Care Assistants and ensure our clients receive the highest standard of care at home. This is a rewarding role where you’ll combine leadership, care planning, and hands-on support to make a real difference in your community.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessments – Carry out initial and ongoing care assessments, risk assessments, and reviews to ensure care plans are accurate and tailored.
- Staff Supervisions & Spot Checks – Provide regular supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews for care staff. Deliver on-the-job coaching to maintain quality standards.
- On-Call Response Duties – Take part in the on-call rota, offering out-of-hours support and attending urgent calls when needed.
- Quality Assurance – Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Team Support – Act as the link between the office and field staff, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
- Client Relationships – Build strong, professional relationships with service users and their families, always promoting dignity, independence, and respect.

What We Need From You
- Previous experience in domiciliary or community care.
- Supervisory or senior carer experience (preferred).
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and lead by example.
- A genuine passion for quality care and supporting both clients and staff.
- Ability and flexibility to cover On Call. (£50 retainer for on call duties)
