Overview

Location: Halesworth, Suffolk

Walfinch are looking for an experienced and confident Complex Care Assistant who can carry out the care and companionship for our client in Huntingfield, Halesworth.

Our client has a TPN feed which they are able to change independently; however due to poor eyesight, they need support with gathering the correct medication for this. Assistance with some household tasks and assisting client to walk her two dogs safely. Candidate must have experience in complex care and confidence to assist with these needs.

A confident driver with full licence and vehicle is also required for this role to enable our client to be taken out to routine hospital and doctors appointments and for visits into the community and to family members.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00, starting on Monday 3rd November.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and companionship for the client in the home and support with daily tasks as required.
  • Assist with TPN feeding and help gather the correct medication due to the client’s eyesight.
  • Help with household tasks and supervise the client while walking two dogs.
  • Drive the client to routine hospital and doctors appointments and for community/family visits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with Complex Care
  • Experience with TPN feeding and medication
  • Confident driver with a full UK licence and vehicle
  • Must have lived in the UK for the last six months
