We are looking for a proactive and confident Community Engagement Lead to build strong relationships within the local community and generate new client opportunities.
This is a highly people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys networking, initiating conversations, and creating meaningful connections that lead to business growth.
- What you’ll be doing
- Engage with local businesses, professionals, and community organisations
- Deliver a minimum of 30 “handshakes” per week
- A “handshake” is defined as a 3-5 minute meaningful conversation with a decision-maker who can generate a client lead within 90 days
- Build and nurture relationships that convert into referrals and new clients
- Maintain an expected conversion rate of at least 1 client lead per 9 handshakes
- Accurately log all leads and actions using Zoho
- Present services confidently using a structured pitch deck
- Follow up and nurture contacts to maximise opportunities
