Purpose We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and customer-focused finance manager to ensure that all financial transactions with customers and suppliers are accurate, timely, and compliant with good practice. You will ensure a friendly and positive experience for all dealing with us and assist in the annual audit process. Specific Tasks Accounts Submit all financial information to be reported in Xero. Ensure compliance with the limits of authority and flag potential issues. Help ensure that capital budgets aren’t exceeded. Maintain accruals and prepayment spreadsheets, ensuring they balance with Xero. Oversee stock spot checks. Purchase Orders Maintain purchase order register in ApprovalMax. Work directly with managers and respond to queries promptly. Check that purchase orders and delivery notes match invoices. Process supplier invoices in ApprovalMax and reconcile with purchase orders. Investigate discrepancies in supplier statements and raise issues with managers. Banking Cash up tills in bar, shop, and office. Reconcile card payments with Sumup reports. Reconcile petty cash weekly. Prepare and arrange collection of bank deposits. Ensure tills and floats are ready when needed and maintain change float. Oversee Stripe payments processing on Cinolla. Oversee BACS payments on Cinolla. Ensure VAT rates are correct for payments on Cinolla. Monitor bank accounts and advise on fund movements.
