What we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a Penetration Testing Specialist to deliver accurate, technical risk assessments of Wales and West Utilities (WWU) IT and OT landscape through the provision of penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and related research and analysis.
We’ll trust you to:
- Conduct internal penetration testing of WWU applications and systems
- Manage external vendors providing penetration services to WWU and arrange and schedule their work
- Proactively research vulnerabilities in WWU’s external and internal-facing systems and infrastructure (IT and OT)
- Accurately quantify discovered vulnerabilities in risk terms, ensuring that the security risk register correctly reflects known technical and human vulnerabilities
You’ll need to have:
- Strong understanding of penetration testing principles, methodologies and tooling with proven experience of delivering infrastructure and application penetration tests safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of attacker TTPs
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong understanding of security risk assessment and risk management concepts and approaches
- Experience with operational technology in the utilities sector or other industrial CNI environments will be highly advantageous
