Multi-Skilled (Level 2 Maintenance Operations)

Area & College Location: West Wales, Pembrokeshire College (Haverfordwest Campus)

Please note: You will be required to arrange travel to and from site and have suitable arrangements to attend college in Haverfordwest once a week.

The Opportunity:

Cambria Maintenance Services is looking to recruit a new multi-skilled apprentice in West Wales. Our apprenticeship programme enables you to learn, work and earn a salary whilst working towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification that is respected and recognised in the maintenance industry. You will work alongside our existing workforce who have lots of industry experience providing you with valuable on the job training enabling you to grow and develop the knowledge and skills required for a successful career.

What will you be doing?

Your time will be split between 4 days in work and 1 day in college. You will support your team to deliver a range of services. As a Multi-Skilled Apprentice your work tasks will include:

  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Basic plumbing
  • Basic roofing
  • Flooring
  • Tiling
  • Brickwork
  • Plastering works
  • Completing and maintaining all associated documentation, records, systems, assessments and certification
  • Liaising with customers

Entry Requirements: Must be aged 16 or over.

Hours of work: 40 hours

Duration: Up to 2 years

How much will I get paid? There are different rates of pay for apprentices depending on your age and what year of your apprenticeship you’re in. Check out the Government website for the current Apprentice National Minimum Wage.
