An exciting vacancy has become available for a permanent role within Cambria's heating service delivery team. We would like to hear from qualified Heating Engineers with experience in gas/oil boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing. Whilst part of an experienced team you will work with team members on larger projects and individually when on routine servicing and repair work.
Applicants must possess recognised formal training attaining the relevant qualifications i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS qualifications CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1. You should also be able to undertake domestic boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing of all aspects of new and existing installations; with experience in completing all necessary paperwork to comply with current regulations and our Gas Safe/Oftec registrations. We are currently installing renewable heat sources such as air source heat pumps, hybrid systems and the like which may also form part of this role.
The rate of pay for this role is £18.77 per hour for a basic 40-hour week, average earnings £39k per year. You must also possess a current valid full driving licence (a company van is provided). You will also participate in our 24/7 emergency call out service for which there is an addition payment. This is an exciting role where the work is varied, and you can feel a real sense of achievement from doing the right job with good products and making a real difference to the lives of the residents of Wales & West Housing.
Previous experience of installing, maintaining and servicing heat pumps would be beneficial.

Our work includes reactive repairs, empty property preparation, electrical testing and gas servicing. While wholly owned by Wales & West Housing Association, we are an independent company used to fulfil the maintenance and servicing needs of the Wales & West Housing Group.
