We are recruiting a Finance Officer (Service Charges) to support clear, accurate, and transparent service charge management across Wales. This role helps ensure services are funded and delivered effectively, contributing to safer homes and stronger communities. Responsibilities
- Support the annual production of service charges for rented, homeowner, and Right to Buy properties, working to strict deadlines with a focus on accuracy.
- Maintain and reconcile information across the accounting system, service charge module, and housing systems; perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accruals and prepayments for site expenditure; monitor budgets; support allocation of costs such as staff time and utilities.
- Regularly review financial information to identify trends, resolve issues and ensure value for money.
- Respond to service charge queries from residents and staff, providing clear, understandable financial information; collaborate to improve understanding of service charges and deliver a resident-focused service.

- Salary £33,215 - £36,788 per annum
- Choice of Defined Contribution or Defined Benefit pension, both including 3x death in service life insurance
