This is a great opportunity to join us as a Building Safety Assistant, helping to keep our residents safe in their homes. You will be part of a team that works to make sure our buildings are safe, compliant, and easy for residents to understand. This role really makes a difference. Responsibilities
- The role supports the delivery of building safety activities across the organisation.
- Keeping essential safety information up to date.
- Helping to monitor compliance.
- Working closely with Building Safety Officers to ensure systems, records and certifications remain accurate and accessible.
- Handling building safety enquiries and helping residents understand safety and risk.
- Ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly and effectively.
- Collaboration with colleagues and external partners to maintain high standards of safety performance.
- Contributing to improvement work, assurance processes, and the development of a resident-focused approach to building safety.
Qualifications

Benefits
- Salary £30,178 - £33,215 per annum.
- Choice of Defined Contribution or Defined Benefit pension, both including 3× death in service life insurance cover.

Location
The role can be based at any of our offices in the South (Cardiff), North (Ewloe) or West (Newcastle Emlyn) regions. We offer flexibility in choosing the most suitable base location, while still ensuring strong links with the wider Building Safety Team. Regular travel between offices may be required at times, but your main working location can be aligned to the area that works best for you.
