Responsibilities

Using the WWH values, you will demonstrate effective skills and behaviours to confidently be a part of the housing management function and provide assistance and support to the resident while working alongside the wider housing team.

You will enable the delivery of services to our residents by providing effective tenancy support and engaging with residents, who may be in debt and affected by welfare reform changes including Universal Credit, housing benefit, the benefit cap and the bedroom tax.

Provide clear advice and excellent support, be approachable and understanding, and keep colleagues across departments updated on actions taken by ensuring records are entered on the ICT housing system promptly and accurately.

Identify improvements to service delivery and use resident feedback to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering person‑centred support to customers, particularly in relation to rent, debt and money advice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations.
  • Confidence in decision making and excellent organisational skills.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Current driving licence and access to a vehicle for attending schemes/sites and visiting residents.
  • Team player, keeping officers across departments updated.

  • Salary £36,788 - £40,718 per annum.
