Run 4 Wales deliver a series of mass‑participation events in South‑Wales, delivering significant economic impact to local communities and providing a platform to raise much needed funds for a range of charities and good causes. We can’t deliver our events without the support of our hard‑working event crew, casual workers and volunteers. Our event team are a valued part of the R4W family – it’s hard work but it’s fun, rewarding and you’ll be part of a team that really does make a difference!

Want to be part of some of the biggest mass participation events in Wales? We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to work with us on event weekends, with 6 events on our calendar in 2026. Working on a Run 4 Wales event is fun, engaging and hugely rewarding – plus you’ll be part of a fantastic team and gain heaps of event experience.

Roles:

  • Production Crew – setting up race infrastructure like barriers, the start‑finish gantries, marquees and moving kit into place.
  • Parking Marshal – welcoming runners and spectators as they arrive at the event car parks.
  • Route Marshal – operating pedestrian crossings over the race route.
  • Logistics Team – sorting and organising kit at our warehouse, loading vans and delivering essential kit around the course.
  • Course Crew – erecting signage and route infrastructure, marking out the course and being part of a response team during the event.
  • Event Supervisors – leading a volunteer team to manage a water station, baggage area or finish funnel.
