The Opportunity Cambria Maintenance Services has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to cover all of South Wales. This is an exciting job where the work is varied, and you could be involved in minor repairs one day and then a full kitchen wiring upgrade the next. You can feel a real sense of achievement from doing the right job with good products and equipment.

We would like to hear from 18th edition qualified Electricians who are able to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, new installations and certify their own work. An important part of electrical service is Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), and holding the relevant inspection and testing qualification and being able to demonstrate competency when undertaking EICRs is a requirement of the role.

The rate of pay for this role is £18.77 per hour for a basic 40-hour week, average earnings £39,041. You will also participate in our 24/7 emergency call out service for which there is an additional payment. This service, whilst compulsory for all employees, allows for flexibility with colleagues able to swap or cover each other's scheduled call out dates.

You must also possess a current valid full driving licence. You will be provided with a company vehicle for business use as well as a fuel card to facilitate your travel to complete your work.

Our work includes reactive repairs, empty property preparation, electrical testing and gas servicing. While wholly owned by Wales & West Housing Association, we are an independent company used to fulfil the maintenance and servicing needs of the Wales & West Housing Group.
