Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking an Assistant General Manager - Café Boulud to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant General Manager - Café Boulud, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations, including Restaurants, Bars, Café, In-Room Dining, Conference & Banqueting, and Kitchen operations. You will ensure the highest levels of quality, service, and financial performance, while maintaining the distinctive standards of Café Boulud and the Hilton luxury portfolio.

  • Lead and manage Food & Beverage service to consistently deliver exceptional quality in line with hotel, brand standards
  • Oversee the seamless flow of guests and service, ensuring effective coordination between front- and back-of-house teams
  • Drive a commercial mindset within the team to maximise all revenue and sales opportunities
  • Ensure team members consistently embody brand standards and deliver intuitive, personalised guest service
  • Handle guest enquiries and feedback with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Oversee accurate financial transactions and operational controls during service
  • Manage team scheduling, stock control, and wastage to optimise efficiency and cost management
