Position Summary

The Stakeholder Relations Lead builds and maintains strong, trusted relationships between Walden Robotics and its key external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and collaborators.

Reporting to the Head of Executive Operations, this role ensures Walden’s external relationships are managed with professionalism, consistency, and care—supporting the company’s strategic partnerships and cross-cultural collaboration, particularly with Japanese partners.

The ideal candidate is a polished communicator and relationship builder who thrives on coordinating high-stakes engagements and representing Walden Robotics with integrity in every external interaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder & Investor Relations
  • Cultivate and manage strong, trusted relationships with investors, partners, and other key external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication.
  • Track stakeholder engagement and maintain a clear record of relationship history, commitments, and follow-ups.
  • Cross-Cultural & International Partnerships
  • Support cross-cultural collaboration, particularly with Japanese partners, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding.
  • Navigate cultural nuances and business practices to strengthen international partnerships.
  • Coordinate translation, interpretation, or localization needs as required for effective communication.
  • Executive & Partner Engagement
  • Coordinate executive visits, partner engagements, and events that strengthen external alignment.
  • Plan and manage logistics for stakeholder meetings, site visits, and delegations, including agendas, materials, and follow-up.
  • Partner with the Head of Executive Operations and executive team to prepare briefing materials for key stakeholder interactions.
  • Representation & Communication
  • Represent Walden Robotics with professionalism and care in all external interactions.
  • Draft and coordinate external-facing communications, correspondence, and materials for stakeholders and partners.
  • Partner with Internal Communications and Executive Operations to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in stakeholder relations, investor relations, business development, partnerships, or as a Senior Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff supporting C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external stakeholders, or with board members, investors, or senior partners on behalf of executives, in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex, multi-party engagements.
  • High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, international relations, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Senior Executive Assistants or Chiefs of Staff with a track record of managing external relationships, board or investor interactions, or high-profile stakeholders are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with international partners; Japanese language proficiency a plus.
  • Experience in robotics, AI, or deep-technology sectors.
  • Experience supporting investor relations or board-level engagement.
  • Comfort with AI tools or automation to enhance productivity.
  • Passion for robotics and for building technology that improves human life.
