North Lincolnshire's number one wedding venue is now hiring a new Wedding Co-ordinator. Currently, our fabulous team at Walcot Hall is busily preparing for the next very exciting 2025 wedding season. We are looking for a new wedding co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at Walcot Hall Estate Ltd, North Lincolnshire's award-winning, busiest and longest-running wedding venue. This is a very exciting and rare opportunity, as this post has not been vacant for many years.
This is a hands-on fast-paced role which involves long hours and weekend work during the summer months (beginning of May to the end of October). During the winter, the role is office-based, with show rounds at weekends and the occasional wedding fair. Hours vary from 16 hours in off-peak season to 40 hours in the height of the season.
We are seeking someone who has a very positive attitude and friendly welcoming nature, who is passionate about the wedding industry and who thrives in an environment where no two days are ever the same. This job would be ideal for someone who knows the industry. The ability to be flexible with working hours is a KEY requirement in the wedding industry.
Role and responsibilities:- Responding to initial enquiries
- Following up leads and converting to show rounds
- Undertaking client viewings
- Sending out all confirmation letters
- Scheduling all weddings
- Liaising with and making arrangements with caterers and other suppliers
- Scheduling photo shoots, wedding fairs, venue stylings, open days and other events
- Setting up the wedding venue and equipment prior to weddings
- Ensuring the bar is fully stocked for each event
- Managing the couple's wedding day, ensuring the arrangements for the day run seamlessly, making it a very special day to remember!
- Highly organised and extremely detail-oriented
- Must have experience of running events
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can multi-task effectively and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work at weekends is absolutely vital
- Extremely reliable
- Great IT skills and very adept with social media
- Must be a team player with a very positive attitude.
