We wish to appoint sessional lecturers to support the authoring and delivery of online programmes including specialisms in:
- artificial intelligence and machine learning
- cyber security
- cloud computing
- computer networks
- database systems (SQL and No SQL)
- software engineering
- programming (python, java, C++ or C#)
- mathematics (appropriate to the areas of expertise)
The role holders will contribute to the creation, delivery and support of excellent teaching and learning at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
- To engage successfully and effectively in the design, development and delivery of curriculum, including assessment and feedback.
- To deliver learning across a range of modules within your subject area.
Your Profile
- A relevant doctoral degree, or a Master\’s degree and active enrolment in a relevant doctoral program.
- Experience in teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels in the UK
- A commitment to respect individual learners and diverse learning communities
- A clear understanding of how students learn
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to meet UK ‘right to work’ requirements.
