We are seeking a Domestic Abuse and VAWG Programme Manager to support the strategic leadership and co‑ordination of the Council’s domestic abuse statutory duties and commissioning strategy. This important role will lead on a programme across the district to create positive results for residents and build safer, healthier, and more sustainable communities.

What will be expected from me?

  • Whole system pathway development and integration of domestic abuse related services, community services and the Council’s Integrated Domestic Abuse Response Team (IDART).
  • Programme management, including commissioning and contract management, assessing need, reviewing service provision, risk management, governance; and facilitating action plans to support the Council’s domestic abuse statutory duties and commissioning strategy.
  • Actively supporting several boards and committees, including preparation and execution of reports as required.
  • Coordination of the Council’s Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Men and Boys Strategy.
