The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with good communication skills who is either already qualified or part qualified through the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors or the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, or Level 4 of AAT. For those who are part qualified, you must be willing to undertake further studying. This will be fully funded by the Council leading to the achievement of a highly regarded qualification in the sector.
As part of the Internal Audit Team, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with a designated Corporate Directorate, other areas of the Council and our external clients in the delivery of assurance and advisory services.
We are committed to delivering a modern internal audit service that will help the Council and our external clients to achieve their organisational priorities by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight.
