Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and professional HR advice and support to internal and external customers, including schools.
  • Assist managers and headteachers with effective HR tools and guidance to manage performance.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures that safeguard the Council and its employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR, pay, and employment queries.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or relevant HR experience.
  • Customer Service experience is desirable, as you will be the first point of contact for a variety of customers.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to handle complex HR queries and provide pragmatic solutions.
  • Have an awareness of employment legislation and its application in a diverse workforce.
