We're looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Communications team and help bring that story to life.

About the Role

As a Creative Graphic Design Officer, you'll play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality creative content that supports council services, campaigns and priorities. Working across both print and digital channels, you'll transform ideas and briefs into visually compelling designs that inform, engage and inspire audiences. From social media graphics and publications to digital communications, advertising campaigns and corporate materials, your work will help shape how the Council presents itself to residents, partners and stakeholders. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, providing both creative expertise and strategic design input to ensure our communications remain innovative, accessible and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging, high-quality creative content that supports council services, campaigns and priorities.
  • Transform ideas and briefs into visually compelling designs.
  • Create social media graphics, publications, digital communications, advertising campaigns and corporate materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Holds a qualification in Graphic Design or a related creative discipline.
