We are seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning in our classrooms. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has or who is beginning their career in education. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of different learning difficulties and an enthusiasm to enhance the learner's experience.
What I might be doing?
- You will provide support to Adult Learners in the classroom, in a variety of subjects.
- You will support our Adult Learners in adjusting activities according to their needs, this could involve working 1:1 or with small groups.
- You will keep up to date electronic records on learner support and progress.
- Attend and participate in regular meetings and training.
Working hours are: 4 mornings per week Mon – Wed 09:00 to 13:00, Thurs 09:00 to 13:30.
Requirements: A minimum of Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or Supporting Teaching.
