Are you friendly, proactive and passionate about customer service? We have an exciting opportunity to support our cafés located across some of Wakefield’s most popular country parks: Café at the Park – Pontefract, Pugneys Country Park and Anglers Country Park. As a Casual Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our busy cafés.
You will be required to prepare and serve food and drinks, delivering excellent customer service and working efficiently during peak periods. You will be responsible for manning the till and handling payments accurately. You will also maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, ensuring that both staff and customer areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Successful candidates will thrive in a busy environment, be able to work well in a team, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive, can-do attitude is imperative, along with reliability, flexibility and a willingness to work across different café locations. Previous catering or customer service experience is desirable but not essential. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
