We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and flexible individual with experience of working in a high-pressure customer facing environment, to work as part of a wider team to support the day-to-day operations of Wakefield Exchange.
Wakefield Exchange will be a dynamic creative hub that will offer a lively communal space contributing to the vitality of the city centre. The venue will regularly host large-scale events, provide creative business workspace, learning facilities, exhibition space and an independent food and beverage offer.
The Operations Officer will have excellent customer care skills, and will be friendly and approachable, providing visitors with clear and accurate information to ensure their experience is highly enjoyable. Supporting day-to-day operation of the venue, you will assist with daily maintenance, general cleaning of communal areas and the set up and take down of events/activities.
You will communicate with artists, hirers, and performers on practical aspects of the event/activities as required and will work well as part of a team, and equally as an individual using your own initiative. This is an impactful role which will secure the smooth operation of the whole venue, Wakefield Exchange. Hours will be as and when required. Multiple vacancies available.
