Overview
The purpose of this role is to support our Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our residents on nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support for residents within the Residential Care Unit.
- Communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
- Enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or working towards it.
- An understanding of safe manual handling techniques.
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.
