We\’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year,delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.

About the Role

The post is for 24.50 hours per week

You\’ll work on a 2-week rolling Rota, including:

  • Evening shifts: 15:00 – 23:00
  • Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)

Your role will include:

  • Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
  • Promoting independence and person-cantered care
  • Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies
  • Treating every person with dignity and respect

To apply, you\’ll need:

Essential:

  • GCSE Grades D$úG in Math\’s and English or
  • Functional Skills Level 1 in Math\’s and English

Desirable (but not required):

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Don\’t have the Level 2 qualification, No problem! We\’ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
