Many of our lifeguards advance to roles such as Fitness Consultants, Swimming Teachers, or Assistant Managers.
An RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or STA Professional Award for Pool Lifeguard (RQF) is mandatory.
The lifeguard role involves a varied number of responsibilities, including ensuring safety in and around the pool, educating swimmers on water safety, providing first aid, and performing rescues during emergencies.
Lifeguards in facilities with dry side areas may also be tasked with setting up equipment or assisting at reception.
It is essential to adhere to all relevant legislation regarding Health
