About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Curriculum and Quality Manager who is passionate about adult learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee a broad range of curriculum areas, including wellbeing and community learning courses that support social inclusion, build confidence, and promote personal development. Currently, this includes creative pathways, family learning, and first steps community engagement courses.
  • You will have responsibility for curriculum planning, staffing, timetabling, and resource allocation, alongside maintaining robust quality assurance processes and ensuring full compliance with funding body requirements, awarding body regulations, and internal performance frameworks.
  • You will maintain rigorous quality assurance processes and ensure full compliance with funding requirements, awarding organisation regulations, and internal performance frameworks.
  • You will have proven experience contributing to and leading quality procedures such as IQA/EQA, RARPA, QIP, and SAR, and will demonstrate a strong understanding of awarding body expectations.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, senior leaders, external agencies, and community partners.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 4/5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
  • Proven experience of planning and managing curriculum and quality in adult learning or FE
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted, funding rules, and quality improvement processes.
  • A strong track record of working with disadvantaged communities across varied settings.
