Do you love the buzz of a busy café and thrive in a fast‑paced environment? We’re recruiting a Café Manager to lead our popular café at Pugneys Country Park - The Boathouse. This is an exciting, hands‑on role where you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a high‑footfall café in a beautiful setting. You will lead by example, ensuring excellent customer service while managing a busy operation that requires quick thinking, strong organisation, and the ability to prioritise effectively.

About the Role

The Café Manager will oversee all aspects of the café’s operation, from customer service and team leadership to ordering, stock control and cash handling. You’ll need to be confident juggling multiple tasks, responding to changing demands, and keeping the café running smoothly during peak periods.

Key Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have proven experience in a café or catering management role and be confident working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
  • You will be highly organised, able to multitask effectively, and skilled at prioritising under pressure.
  • A positive, can‑do attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team are essential, along with a clear commitment to delivering consistently high standards of customer service.
