Are you passionate about making a difference to our citizens and the district that they reside in? Then, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. We are looking for Casual Aquatics Instructors to assist with our delivery across five leisure facilities within the Wakefield District. This role will provide additional support within our school swimming programme alongside being a key deliverer of our Learn to Swim programme.

You may be required to travel around the district to a number of sites providing this support and will involve work on afternoons, evenings and weekends with the aim of helping residents of Wakefield District learn to swim and be confident and safe in and around water.

The successful candidate needs to possess the relevant swim teaching qualifications and have experience delivering lessons across a range of stages of a LTS programme. Organisation, time management skills and good communication skills are required in a role that spans the district and works alongside multiple facility staffing teams and a whole range of age groups.

Delivering swimming lessons is a key life skill for children so applicants must be able to demonstrate how they will be able to successfully work with children in a fun and engaging manner.
