Make a Real Difference Every Day. Are you caring, compassionate, and friendly? Do you want to help others live independently with dignity, choice, and respect? If so, we\’d love to hear from you! We\’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.

Role details

The post is for 24.50 hours per week. You\’ll work on a 2-week rolling rota, including evening shifts: 15:00 – 23:00. Salary: 25,583 – 25,989 (FTE). Weekends and bank holidays have enhanced pay rates.

Requirements

Essential:

  • GCSE Grades D-G in Maths and English or
  • Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English

Desirable (but not required):

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Don’t have the Level 2 qualification? We\’ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
