We\βre looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.
About the Role
The post is for 24.50 hours per week. You\βll work on a 2-week rolling Rota, including:
- Evening shifts: 15:00 β 23:00
- Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)
Salary: Β£25,583- Β£25,989 (FTE)
Your role will include:
- Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes

Essential:
- GCSE Grades D-G in Math\βs and English or Functional Skills Level 1 in Math\βs and English
Desirable (but not required):
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Don\βt have the Level 2 qualification? No problem! We\βll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
