We\’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.
Role details
The post is for 24.50 hours per week. You\’ll work on a 2-week rolling rota, including evening shifts: 15:00 – 23:00. Salary: 25,583 – 25,989 (FTE). Weekends and bank holidays have enhanced pay rates.

Requirements
Essential:
- GCSE Grades D-G in Maths and English or
- Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
Desirable (but not required):
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Donβt have the Level 2 qualification? We\’ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
