Overview
We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic waking night support workers, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference to the quality of a person\’s life by supporting them with their night time routines. This can include administering medication, intimate personal care including showering/bathing, dressing or undressing, assisting with toileting etc. You will have an understanding of the importance of promoting independence and enabling positive life choices.
Experience and requirements
If you have experience of working in a care setting or provided informal care and support to family or friends then we would love to hear from you. You must understand that a person is at the centre of the care and have a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
Working pattern
The work includes weekends and bank holidays. Additional enhancements are paid for night work / weekend work on top of the basic salary. Additional hours may also be available on top of the contracted hours.
