Overview
Make a Difference Every Night. Are you caring, compassionate, and committed to supporting others? We are recruiting Night Care & Support Workers to join our Reablement Service, which operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable individuals across the district.
Responsibilities
- Virtual Ward Service – Supporting patients at home who would otherwise be in hospital
- Dementia Wraparound Service – Providing one-to-one night care in residential settings
- Repositioning Service – Monitoring and preventing pressure sores overnight
- Urgent Response Service – Delivering short-term care to prevent hospital admissions or support timely discharge
You will work collaboratively with professionals and agencies, always upholding dignity, respect, and national care standards.
Requirements
- Essential:
- GCSEs Grades D-G or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
- Right to work in the UK (evidence required)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Desirable:
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- If you do not currently hold this qualification, we will fund it following successful completion of your probation.
