About the role

As the Project Officer – Assets your manager will be our Project Manager – Assets. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.

As the Project Officer you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of capital investment and planned maintenance projects by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations and helping projects progress on time, within budget and to the required standards and specification.

It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:

  • Delivering investment work across our homes including high-risk buildings (HRBs)
  • Delivering sustainability projects to improve the EPC rating of our customers’ homes
  • Delivery of our client responsibilities for major insurance work

What you’ll do

We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual to support the successful development and delivery of a range of asset-related programmes and capital investment projects. The role involves providing technical and non-technical services, managing property and land data and coordinating stakeholder communication across all stages of project delivery. You\’ll ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legislative requirements, support quality assurance processes, monitor performance and help improve properties to agreed standards. A key part of the role is maintaining core systems, liaising with customers and resolving queries to achieve high levels of satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework, such as A levels, Award, Certificate or Diploma at level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience of involvement in the delivery of planned maintenance projects with a track record in a position in a property services or technical department of a registered social landlord, local authority or construction organisation
  • Hold a full valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and the ability to travel throughout the Vico Homes operating area as required on a daily basis
