We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Fabricator Welder (Level 3 or equivalent) to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of bespoke acoustic enclosures to BSEN 1090 standards, including final assembly after painting.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Fabricate and weld bespoke acoustic enclosures to BSEN 1090 standard.
  • Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Assemble products to specification following painting and finishing.
  • Operate machinery such as guillotine, band saw, press brake, pillar drill, and various hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Perform self-inspection and maintain high levels of workmanship and quality control.
  • Work independently using your initiative to solve problems and manage tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient workspace.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Fabrication & Welding.
  • Strong MIG/TIG welding experience with the ability to weld in accordance to approved welding procedure specifications (WPS) ensuring full compliance and quality standards.
  • Must be competent fabricating with both sheet metal and framework fabrication including marking out, cutting, forming to engineering drawings.
  • Competent in the use of fabrication machinery: guillotine, band saw, press brake, pillar drill, and hand tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
  • Thorough understanding of BSEN 1090 fabrication standards.
  • Good knowledge of workplace health and safety protocols.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work to tight tolerances.

Preferred Experience & Certifications:

  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
  • Overhead crane operation experience.
  • IPAF qualification (Mobile Elevated Work Platform use).

We Offer:

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 06.00 to 15.00 and Friday 06.00 to 11.00 (39 hours per week). Pay Rate: £17.65 per hour.
