As a labourer, your role is to ensure a clean and organised workshop environment while providing day-to-day support to the skilled fabricators. The role involves general housekeeping duties, assisting with material handling and preparation which will help ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the workshop.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Keep the workshop clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Organise tools, materials, and equipment to ensure efficiency and easy access.
- Dispose of waste materials and recycling appropriately.
- Preparing and moving materials.
- Basic assembly or pre-fabrication work under supervision.
- Loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining stock levels.
- Relevant experience of material handling control experience.
- Overhead crane trained qualified.
- Full UK driving license.
- Positive attitude and willingness to progress.
- Basic knowledge of assembly work.
- Full UK driving license.
- FLT License up to B3.
- Overhead crane qualified.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 06.00 to 15.00 and Friday 06.00 to 11.00 (39 hours per week). Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour.
Benefits- Pension: 5% employee, 3% employer contribution.
