Play an important part in our journey. As a Depot Services Manager, you will help make sure our depots are a safe and enjoyable place to work by administering key health and safety, food safety and environmental processes and coordinating building maintenance activity. You will be a key support for the depot in keeping their facilities and processes legally compliant, with support from depot management and regional QHSE team. You will be a first point of contact for third party contractors whilst on site e.g. pest control, waste and environmental contractors.
There are a variety of routine checks to be completed across a daily to monthly cycle, making sure we are up to date with all health and safety procedures including fire, emergency lighting, legionella, asbestos and cleaning schedules. Supporting the depot in passing internal and external audits, and keeping on track of any correct actions that arise. You will also help us to make sure all employees on site are up to date with their training requirements via the e-learning management system.
To be successful in this role you will need a good knowledge of operational processes and standards, and how these are applied practically. You will have knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Food Standards. You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of colleagues in the depot up to senior management as well as external professionals. You will have a positive approach to work, be able to work well independently and use your initiative to identify solutions to areas of non-compliance.
