Direct Seafood Colchester is a passionate fish and seafood supplier who have been delivering local, quality fish and seafood since 1984. We have grown into a very reputable supplier delivering to chefs in the East & South East of England, as far as Brighton and up to Lincoln. Our main site is based in Colchester, with two satellite sites in Woolwich and Biggleswade.
Ethical sourcing, animal welfare, sustainability, provenance and traceability are all paramount to everything we stand for. We work closely with NGOs such as MSC to maintain the highest standards within our industry. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a key role in building lasting relationships with our customers by delivering their fresh produce on time, every time, and with a friendly, professional approach.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering fresh food and ingredients to chefs and professional kitchens across the region
- Handling products with care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
- Communicating with customers in a professional, friendly way and resolving any issues confidently
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and returns
- Loading and unloading goods, carrying out vehicle checks, and keeping the van clean and tidy
- Temperature and quality checks

What We're Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence
- Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Great communication and people skills

- Previous experience in multi-drop or foodservice delivery is an advantage
