About the role
Canteen Cook

Cook required working full time, covering evening shift, Sunday to Thursday 16.00pm – 12.00pm, 40 hours per week in our staff restaurant at our Paddock Wood depot. We will be prepared to be flexible with these hours for the right candidate.

Duties will include:

• To assist the supervisor in delivering a high quality service in preparing/cooking meals and snacks
• General kitchen duties
• Cleaning tables
• Carrying out daily temperature monitoring checks and recording

What do you need to succeed as our Cook /Restaurant Assistant?

• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2.
• Previous working experience in a kitchen/canteen environment is essential
• The ability to cook meals from fresh
• Excellent communication skills
• Pleasant outgoing personality and smart appearance (uniform provided)
• To be able to work face to face with colleagues as a counter environment.
