THE ROLE We are seeking an organised, solutions-focused Transport & Logistics Manager to keep our ambitious immersive build moving efficiently and safely. This vital role is the main holder of the transport and logistics schedule, coordinating the daily flow of materials, deliveries, site access, and transport requirements — ensuring the right people and supplies are in the right place at the right time.Importantly, the Transport & Logistics Manager will also be the main holder of Health & Safety onsite, working closely with the Production Manager and H&S consultants to ensure best practice is upheld, inductions are carried out properly, and everyone on site works safely and responsibly.This role is perfect for someone with proven experience managing complex site logistics and transport operations for immersive builds, live events, or large installations, with strong people skills and an eye for detail.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Scheduling, Transport & Site Coordination:
- Develop and oversee transport plans, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials, large items, and people.
- Coordinate site accreditation to ensure smooth access for contractors, artists, and delivery partners.
- Create detailed site access, managing drop-offs, storage areas, and loading/unloading zones.
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Fit Out Manager to align transport logistics with build phases and installation plans.
Deliveries & Materials Tracking:
- Track all incoming deliveries and coordinate transport arrangements to get materials where they need to be on site, including offsite parcel deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, sign-offs, and transport logs.
- Work with all departments to plan and coordinate any specialist transport or handling needs.
People Movement & Site Access:
- Be the main point of contact for managing who is on and off site each day, including contractors, artists, delivery drivers, and visitors.
- Be the main holder of accreditation for all suppliers, contractors, artists and production teams
- Providing contractors and anyone coming on site with the induction link and checking if they have been completed before coming on site.
Health & Safety Lead:
- Act as the primary Health & Safety coordinator for all H&S coordination on site.
- Coordinate and maintain site safety plans, RAMS, and emergency procedures in partnership with the Production Manager and H&S consultants.
- Ensure that all contractors, drivers, and visitors are inducted into the site safety procedures and that all required paperwork is up to date.
Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as the central point of communication for transport, deliveries, site logistics, and H&S matters.
- Provide clear daily updates to the Production Manager, Lead Producer and wider team on logistics, transport and H&S.
- Attend production meetings, H&S briefings, and site coordination sessions, contributing practical solutions and recommendations.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential:
- Proven experience as a project or logistics manager, or similar role for large-scale installations, attractions or live event builds.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, site phasing, transport planning, and material types and suppliers.
- Confident overseeing H&S administration, inductions and management of incident book.Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to manage multiple moving parts under pressure.
- Practical knowledge of site registers, delivery tracking tools, and transport management systems.
- A calm, proactive approach with strong people management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience on complex immersive or themed entertainment builds.
- Understanding of sustainability best practices for transport and site logistics.
