THE ROLE
- Set Dressing & Installation Support
- Assist in the physical dressing of immersive environments, ensuring spaces are styled and finished to a high standard.
- Follow dressing plans, references, and direction from the Lead Dresser and Rooms Art Director, Assistant Rooms Art Director.
- Prepare, move, and install dressing items, props, and scenic elements across multiple rooms.
- Maintain attention to detail in guest-facing, close-up environments.
- Support the smooth execution of installs across tight production schedules.
- Props & Materials Handling
- Assist with organising, tracking, and maintaining props, dressing items, and tools.
- Ensure props are placed safely and securely for guest interaction and repeated use.
- Help with replacements, repairs, and general upkeep of dressing elements.
- Flag any damage, safety concerns, or missing items to the Lead Dresser.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Lead Dresser and wider dressing team to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction, scenic, props, and technical teams to support installation progress.
- Take direction clearly and adapt quickly to changing priorities on site.
- Onsite Support & Problem Solving
- Assist with on-site problem solving during installs, adapting to build conditions and constraints.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow health & safety guidelines, particularly in guest-facing and high-traffic areas.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in theatre, live events, immersive environments, film/TV, or similar hands-on creative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition.
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work efficiently on site.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Awareness of basic health & safety practices.
