WAKE THE TIGER
Wake The Tiger is a radical creative company born in the South West and the visionary force behind the world’s first Amazement Park®. We fuse immersive art, storytelling, and purpose to create unforgettable experiences that disrupt the norm and ignite transformation. Our worlds are built to challenge perception, awaken collective imagination, and provoke real change — socially, environmentally, and culturally. We believe wonder is a catalyst, and amazement a tool — not just for escape, but for building a more connected, conscious, and courageous future.
THE ROLE
- Immersive Set Dressing & Installation: Carry out all set dressing across immersive environments, ensuring rooms are fully dressed, styled, and finished to a consistently high standard. Organise and schedule the dressing team to areas of priority and inform the assistant dressing team of their daily tasks. Translate creative concepts, narratives, and reference materials into physical spaces that support guest immersion and storytelling. Ensure dressing enhances guest flow, sightlines, and experiential beats without obstructing technical or operational requirements. Maintain strong attention to detail across high-touch, close-up environments.
- Props & Interactive Elements: Work closely with props, construction, scenics, and technical teams to integrate dressing with interactive elements, scenic pieces, and hidden technical infrastructure. Ensure props are placed securely and appropriately for guest proximity and repeated use. Flag durability, safety, or maintenance concerns and propose practical dressing solutions. Organise and manage dressing props, tools, kit, and replacements.
- Creative Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Rooms Art Director to maintain creative integrity across all rooms. Problem-solve on site to adapt dressing plans in response to build conditions, technical constraints, or narrative refinements. Provide clear feedback from install to inform creative and production decisions. Have a strong communication open with construction to ensure things are being dressed safely.
- Team & Install Coordination: Support and guide assistant dressers during install periods making sure your team are working to a good schedule. Coordinate dressing activity across multiple rooms to meet tight production schedules. Communicate effectively with Construction, Technical, Lighting, Sound, and Production teams to ensure seamless integration.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in immersive entertainment, theatre, live events, attractions, escape rooms, or themed environments.
- Strong understanding of environmental storytelling, guest experience, and spatial design.
- Excellent eye for detail and finishing, particularly in close-proximity environments.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing dressing across multiple spaces.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and confident working on site during intense build phases.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Able to lead a team and work within tight deadlines.
- Awareness of health & safety considerations specific to guest-facing environments.
