We fuse immersive art, storytelling, and purpose to create unforgettable experiences that disrupt the norm and ignite transformation. Following the success of our Bristol site, we're expanding to London in 2026 with an all-new immersive world designed to spark imagination and challenge perception on a whole new scale. Our mission is simple: We create immersive experiences for everyone, where art, storytelling and purpose collide - to inspire change today that transforms the world tomorrow.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven individual to take the next step in their hospitality career at London's most exciting new immersive attraction. Wake The Tiger have built a Bar and Kitchen set in their new attraction: Absurd City. It will serve everything from cocktails to coffees throughout the day to ticket holders, and we have partnered with a chosen caterer to deliver a high-class meat-free menu in a fully kitted out commercial kitchen. That's not all though: It will also be open to the public in its own right and has set the goal of being an essential cocktail bar destination in London. We are looking for someone to help realise that ambition. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and work alongside a newly minted bar team, leading the floor shift by shift and taking charge of the venue when the manager is off-site. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the venue is a critical and commercial success.
You Will be Responsible For
- Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering consistent, outstanding hospitality that establishes Absurd City's Bar & Kitchen as a top venue to visit in London.
- Leading the bar and floor during service, taking charge of the venue in the Food & Beverage Manager's absence.
- Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and kitchen team to ensure seamless service and impeccable standards are maintained on every shift.
- Supporting the recruitment, training, development and day-to-day management of the F&B team, helping to build a motivated, high-performing team that goes above and beyond for guests and for each other in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
- Supporting the financial operation to keep the venue commercially on track.
- Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for other departments, stakeholders and partners during service.
- Following and helping to improve the systems and processes that keep logistics and operations running smoothly.
- Taking responsibility for maintaining high standards of food safety, health & safety, licensing and operational compliance across the venue.
