We are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, end-to-end technology solutions across a global business environment. This role involves close collaboration with enterprise architects, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure that architectural solutions meet both strategic goals and technical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition of solution architecture for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape, design, and implement innovative, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Deliver proof of concepts (POCs) and innovation prototypes to validate technical approaches and de-risk solutions.
- Provide hands-on guidance and oversight to offshore and delivery partners throughout the implementation process.
- Engage with stakeholders to capture and refine business and technical requirements (functional and non-functional).
- Identify key areas of technical complexity and risk, and drive resolution through technical exploration and decision-making.
- Ensure that solution intent is maintained and that deviations from design are properly assessed and addressed.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in governance and assurance processes to uphold architectural standards and strategy.
- Collaborate with operations teams to define support models and ensure maintainability of delivered solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with enterprise and technical architects, ensuring solutions are built with long-term scalability and alignment in mind.
- Review third-party documentation and designs for conformance with internal standards and expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing a wide range of enterprise-scale technology solutions, including large-scale data processing and integration, systems dealing with both structured and unstructured data, and highly distributed systems and architectures.
- Strong expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices design.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Broad understanding of web, cloud, and data technologies, along with common architectural patterns.
- Ability to communicate architectural strategies and designs effectively to both technical teams and business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to decompose complex problems into actionable solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards such as GDPR.
- Experience contributing to and helping mature an enterprise architecture practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the market research, data analytics, or insights sectors.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and modern data platforms.
- Background in software engineering or development.
