At Wakam, we are rapidly expanding our operations in the UK and are looking for a Head of FP&A to build a robust Finance department. Our company is tech‑driven and values performance, agility, and rapid execution.
Responsibilities
- Set up and structure finance activities in the UK, aligning them with the Head Office in France.
- Design, streamline and enhance financial processes and reporting to integrate seamlessly with the Head Office.
- Collaborate with French teams to develop an operating model for the UK branch.
- Produce budgets, forecasts and financial reports for the UK perimeter in partnership with headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Monitor and analyse UK financial performance, providing visibility to senior management.
- Report directly to the CFO UK and work cross‑functionally within a matrix structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Chartered Accountancy preferred).
- Significant experience in FP&A or related financial leadership roles.
- Strong financial planning and analysis expertise, with a deep understanding of reporting processes.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, strong reporting acumen, and in‑depth knowledge of financial regulations.
- High degree of rigor, detail orientation and meticulous financial practices.
- Ability to design target operating models and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
